Embryo age at transfer lets doctors date the pregnancy precisely.
How dating works
The due date equals the transfer date plus 266 days minus the embryo’s age. A day 5 blastocyst transfer adds 261 days.
Early milestones
A blood pregnancy test is done about 9 to 14 days after transfer, followed by an ultrasound at around 6 to 7 weeks.
Emotional support
